Ensenada

Sitting out a storm in port, cruising the town running errands, basically eating and drinking our way through the streets of Ensenada.

November 18th: Immigration office, boat maintenance, 30mil Racor for the Mexican diesel, new fuel filter, scrub, prime and paint the block to prevent rust, $7 teak jerry rail, fish market, fish tacos, churros and cold beer.
November 19th: Start of the Baja 1000 from Ensenada to La Paz began. Thousands of people converged on the streets and the arroyo for the start of the race. It truly is a family event for the locals, everybody comes together and sets up a picnic style vantage at the start.
November 20th: The 100th anniversary of the revolution, so you could imagine the parades and celebration here in town. Jessica made a delicious stew, Stephen and Lulu from Siempre Sabado joined us for dinner. Smoked Marlin with cream cheese and crackers was the appetizer.

November 21st
Fuel and water tanks are full. The weather is improving. We plan to make a 120nm passage to the next anchorage, lobster and surf awaits us...
